They are designed to separate free oil and suspended solids from wastewater, making it appropriate for discharge or further treatment. API separators are commonly used in the oil and gas industry for the separation of oil and suspended solids from wastewater.

How API Wastewater Treatment System works:

Wastewater enters the separator, and due to the tank’s design, the waste water remains for some amount of time that cause oil and solids to flow into the surface, forming a layer that can be skimmed off. Treated water exits from the bottom.
