Runpuller:

Automatic tube pullers or Runpullers are specific devices for removing tubes from heat exchangers, boilers, or condensers. When the tubes of heat exchanger, boiler or condenser have been used for several years, or have started to leak, the consequence is reducing the overall efficiency. Therefore, the damaged or precipitated tubes should be removed by Automatic tube pullers.

For pulling process the maintenance operator prepares the Automatic tube puller by connecting the hydraulic power source and position it to the specific tube. The precise and safety of this stabilization is important. After inserting the puller into the tube, the device uses expandable jaws which fit inside the tube tightly and grip the tube then pull the tube out of the tube sheet.

A hydraulic pump will generate the necessary pressure to power the Automatic tube puller. This hydraulic pressure forces the gun to pull the tube out of the tube sheet. Once the tube is completely removed, the extracted tube is then set aside for inspection or disposal. This process will continue automatically.
